We have taken a big step at Happy Hens’ Barnyard, we are now in WalMart! It makes it extra meaningful that we are in Walmart right here on the Eastern Shore in Fruitland, Maryland. The process to be accepted into WalMart was long and costly, but we finally made it. It took two years of paperwork, and procedures, but it has paid off.
The Eastern Shore is a primarily agricultural area and residence are taking more and more interest in feeding their families with food grown locally, ethically produced, and minimally processed. Maryland has farms that can provide food all year round, and we are one of those farms. Having our products available at WalMart makes it so convenient for families to get locally grown products during their normal shopping trip.
On the Eastern Shore our eggs can also be purchased at Harris Teeter in Millsboro and Selbyville, Delaware, Oakley’s Market on Rt. 50 West of Salisbury, Berlin Organics in Berlin, Maryland, and Quail Cove Market in Machipongo, Virginia, and now WalMart in Fruitland, Maryland. We are so proud to be serving our home town area.
Look for our eggs the next time that you are out!
